Creep- Radiohead

Someday when i grow old and senile, I resolve to be sane for just a few minutes everyday so that I can take the time to listen to the songs I loved, and remember the reasons why I loved them. Obviously I will not be able to remember them, so I'll have to pay the nurses at the nursing home to immediately show me this blog so that I can remember, and start singing again, for just those few minutes of lucidity.

my current favourite song since the past six years:

ooohh..the absolute psychoness of the lyrics, and the way the music and the tune accompany the psycho lyrics so perfectly.

I get this picture of a nondescript guy watching a girl and he wants her, but he's scared to make a move, and he slowly creeps towards her, kinda stalks her a bit...

the best part is, as the verse starts, the slow and relentless guitar beats mirrors how he watches her, and silently shadows her... and then he sings, "so fucking special..", the guitar gives this short, sharp shred that mirrors him going over the edge..

and then the song moves into the part where he bawls..

"she's running out, run, run, run, ruuuuuunnn"

absolutely climactic!!!

you feel his nonentity-ness (new word!), and his weird vibes sooo clearly!

and then it moves once again into that slow, relentless beat again

but i'm a creep,

i'm a weirdo,

what the hell am i doing here,

i don't belong here, i don't belong here...

PERFECTION!

Korn n The Cure also did amazing covers of the song, but radiohead's is the best! so many songs, but i always keep coming back.. love..!!!
